Hello, Folk Festival Volunteers & Friends!
The Lowell Folk Festival is an amazing event where
nearly two thousand volunteers come together to stage
a massive three-day festival, the largest free folk
festival in the country. Many of you have
volunteered for the festival and the park in the past.
Some of you may have helped during other events such
as canal clean-ups, Lowell Summer Music Series, and
Doors Open Lowell.
Here is your chance to get a head start volunteering for the Lowell Folk
Festival! We have many different types of jobs and you can check those
that interest you. You will find a description of the volunteer positions
at www.lowellfolkfestival.org/volunteer. We would like to have your
volunteer application on the attached form by June 16, if possible. By
sending in your form early, your chances of receiving a t-shirt in your
preferred size will be the best. If you have questions about the jobs,
give us a call at 978-275-1740.

For individuals, we are looking for volunteers to commit to assigned tasks
and schedules, ranging from the logging of performer music and the
escorting and transportation of musicians to helping visitors find their
way around the event.
For volunteer groups, we are recruiting teams from businesses and
organizations to do such things as: collect donations at festival stages
and throughout the festival grounds; assist in set-up and take-down of
stages and seating areas; and help with the collection of recyclables from
event sites.
If you can give at least four hours, please fill out and send the attached
volunteer form to the volunteer office AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! You will also
soon be able to apply directly via the webpage,
www.lowellfolkfestival.org/volunteer, or email it to:
Lowell_NHP_Volunteers@nps.gov. The mailing address is: LNHP Volunteer
Office, 67 Kirk St., Lowell, MA 01852. Please call with any questions:
